I finally had time to paint a bit last night. First time in quite a while. I have been missing Alaska lately so painted a scene from one of my favorite passes there. In the spring up there ice flows often form temporary dams across the streams during breakup. Did my best to capture that in this one. The lighting was bad when I photographed the painting and it appears hazy but is in fact quite clear and the colors really pop. Missed everyone on here and hope to be back regularly now.
