i think your background color is awesome, it gives your sky a unique feeling and your trees and grass totally rocks. But that left upper corner could be something else, maybe with out the blue color and planet.
I like the composition of this painting a lot. That tree is outstanding, I just wish that the background wasn't so bright so that tree could stand and pop out more. Good stuff!
I'm still learning and experimenting with a lot of things...
After I finish my paintings, I've developed a habit of going back and changing some things... I'm thinking I'm going to add some grass to the rocks in the lower left to help tie the whole thing together...
I like the technique of dabbibg the paint on because it give really bright colors, I just haven't learned how to control it as well as I'd like...
Funny that you like the grass, it was one of the things I wasn't happy with...
