really cool painting - i love the tone of the painting with the greys of the trees & foliage and then the blues of the water. It looks really well done. The only thing i see missing is maybe some shadows at the water's edge -- mostly that bank on the right side that we can see so much of -- just a little bit of showing in the water's edge would add a little depth & detail to the water. But still overall great piece!
I, like Spainter, too think that this is one your best paintings ever posted on here. The whole composition is awesome, and yet so simple. I like the fact that the lake and the land have unusual shapes, but at the same time the whole painting has continuity. Nice work on the background trees, great stuff!
