Magazine sheets, aluminum foil, wax paper, newspaper, notebook paper, etc...
I've used a lot of different sheets to help add texture to my paintings - all of which I chose because I saw someone else do it first. And just when I think maybe I've thought of something new - next thing you know I see it already being used on YouTube or SprayPaint.TV!!
What kind of stuff have you used? Anything completely off the map?!

 I used a tongue depressor to make a cool planet texture. ill post it with this. ive also uses flowers |

there was another similar topic i posted pretty much the same response on. but- i started using cling wrap (or saran wrap, whatever youd like to call it) it is my favorite texture by far out of everything ive tried...

I have used my pallet knife to make texture on a planet. Just carefully move it back and forth on the planet, and slowly move down... Its cool! |

I use a small paint roller alot! Also another trick i like to do, is while the paint is still wet, place a loose leaf sheet of paper down for like a pyramid and soak the paint in the paper. wait a sec and slowly pull up the paper. It makes some smooth and beautiful blended textures Alot of it of course i think is personal taste |
