I began using the Home Depot Rustoleum Gloss paints from the Walmart Krylon Flats.... it seems the gloss paints take alot longer to dry and stay very sticky for a length of time. The paintings look nicer with the shine, but the gloss makes a very sticky mess.....should I stay with the gloss or return to the flats??

yup - i noticed the same thing when i switched over... the dry time & tackiness does suck - but you adjust and get used to it and work around it.  The finished product is much better with the Rusto gloss.  imo.

ok, im really new to this perticular form of artistry, but cant you just take and use the flat paint to make the painting then go back and put a clear gloss on top for the sheen effect? or will that not come out looking right?
