I've never painted live although i work quickly, how do you avoid the planet rings when you drop lids???

I use very little paint for planets specially where the outer part is, this way it doesnt leave rings.

Thanks Brandon, I'll give it a try, also do you add the shadow to the planet before you drop the lid or after??

it depends. if your just going to do a black sky for instance, you can put down your lid, spray black around it, take the lid off and spray the shadow. but if your doing a different colored sky or nebulas and whatnot then put it on first and then put the lid down
