After realizing I had only enough poster board for 2 paintings I made a run to Walgreens this morning bound and determined to buy every sheet they had.  I jovially ventured thought the store picking up nonessential items like toothepaste, toilet paper, etc.  Then I came to the poster board section........You know, the IMPORTANT stuff.  Looking up and down the aisle I begin to get alittle panicky.  The rack is empty!  No big sheets of posterboard!  I begin to feel a little shaky. I'm sweating.  My stomach is doing flip-flops.  I wander around the store lost, making my way back to the poster board.  Yes it is truly empty!  I must find an employee to help me..HELP!  A salesclerk looks over "Uh is there something I can help you with?"  The poor gal has no idea she is now dealing with a crazed spraypaint artist.  "Yes, your posterboard!  It's all gone!  Please get some from the back.  I know you've got some hidden back there.  Now hurry PLease!  Mam I'm sorry but we won't have any until tomorrow.  Tomorrow?? My day is wrecked but tomorrow I will have all I need because there will be a fresh shipment waiting  for me.

My question: Why is Walgreens the only place to find decent posterboard?  And Bryan, do they have Walgreens in Gozo?

Guess I'm lucky, there is a Walgreens near my house, and they just built a new one near my office.  Both seem to keep good stock of 22x28 glossy poster board for 79 cents a sheet.  I quarter it down to 11x14.  There don't seem to be any other spray paint artists in my neck of the woods, and I think the Walgreens emplyees think I am a teacher or something when I buy 10-20 sheets at a time.

I know the feeling as I get all panicky when I'm about to run out! I wish we had Walgreens or anything else in Gozo but we dont. And this might shock you guys but we dont even have posterboard here!!! I have been buying mine from USa over the internet. Its expensive though but thats OK for me cause I need it. only downfall is that I cant bigger than 14x18 and I am busting my chops to do a big painting, so I'm stuck a bit that way. Trying to find an alternative for spray but no luck yet!

cuz walgreens rocks.  There's about a half dozen walgreens between my house and my work - but i've gotten used to knowing which one will have the size that I need.  It varies - which seems retarded to me - because one of them always stocks the 11x14's and one of them always stocks the 14x22!
