I've been asked to participate in a art fair.  I've never done that before.  I'm looking for pointers.  They are sending me a contract.  My understanding is that instead of charging boothe rental they take a percentage of your sales.  Has anyone else worked that way?  Also they don't supply canopes/tents.  Does anyone know where I can get one cheap?  I also need ideas on how to display my artwork.HELP!!!!

As far as the art fair taking a percentage of your sales - that could work out to your advantage if you end up not selling very well... HOWEVER if you sell a lot then it will suck because they will take a bigger chunk. I've never participated in a show like that.
