Subject: Selling paintings during live performance
Content: Ive been painting for about 2 years now and I am going to be doing my first live show in oct. I was wondering how you guys who perform give your paintings to the customers to take home? What exactly do you tell them to do with it. Ive seen a video of one guy taping a painting to floor and telling the lady to come back in 10 min. then tapes the painting in half (not folding) and tells her something about setting the painting out for 2 hours before putting it in a frame. Ive never put a painting in a frame so I wouldnt know where to start. Ive seen paintings with black boarders on them. I need to know the best method so I can be ready in oct. Any info is greatly appreciated.
