Subject: Why I use Tea tree oil. To remove paint from skin
Content: Ok first of all I can't stand rubber gloves. They are actually not that protective. I did use them and they shredded. I like to use my fingers. I do wear liguid gloves. It is a barrier lotion that keeps toxins out of my skin for up to 4 hours. Also I can protect my entire arms. Even so paint is hard to remove especially from arm hair, when I hit the table while drawing palm trees or placing lids. So one day I was messing around with tea tree oil and I used it to remove 15 year old paint overspray from a window in a house I was renting. It wiped right off. So I tried it after a gig. It virtually melts paint off of you and it is great for your skin. WWII soldiers had tea tree oil in their med kits for treating wounds. So for 6 bucks at Wal-Mart I get a small bottle of Tea Tree oil and a little goes a long way. I use a wash cloth and the oil + a little soap and I no longer have to worry about dangerous solvents soaking into my bones. Another cool thing about Tea Tree oil is that is dissolves plastic but it treats skin erruptions and various skin problems.
