I have a pretty diverse background. I enlisted in the Marine Corps after high school. After serving 4 years I was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant and worked in construction in one form or another until I decided to go back to school in 1990. I then became an industrial designer with piping design being my specialty. After living and working in Alaska for 14 years I am now back in West Texas where I grew up working in the oil industry. I saw a video on the internet about spray art and decided to give it a try. After the first day I was hooked. I dabbled in art in high school and have done some wood carving but nothing very serious. My wife is a gifted artist from Canada and is known for her jewelry and work in precious metals. She also does spray art when she gets the chance. I have been painting about a year now whenever I have time. I have given a lot of my work away and am always stunned that people want it. At the moment it is just a way for me to relax.
